Growing up in the fashion industry of New York City, Kim Wadsworth continues her lifelong relationship between beauty, fashion and style with the creation of Vow Bride.
The genesis of the publication was based on a need Kim sensed growing in the Hampton Roads community in 2000 to offer a visually exciting resource guide for brides marrying in Virginia. For over a decade, she has sourced out new venues and vendors specializing in weddings; showcasing what they can do to make the day beyond extraordinary.
Editorial spreads gracing the pages of Vow Bride have been photographed in every possible Virginian location: from wineries and plantations, to beaches and museums. Continually excited about the unlimited realm of possibilities offered to brides choosing Virginia and more specifically, Hampton Roads as the place to tie the knot, Kim is thrilled that readers will now be able to experience the magazine and all it has to offer, on line as well.
Vow Bride is recognized as the wedding resource for brides looking for decidedly different vendors to make their “day of ” dreams come true. Vow was recently awared Honorable Mention for “Wedding Wonderland” and the Silver for “The Big Idea.” Also, it was the recipient of the 2011 Gold GAMMA magazine award for Best Single issue, Vow Bride continues to raise the bar on “visual ingenuity and informative content it offers readers.”
The wedding possibilities in Hampton Roads and beyond are endless. What a thrill to share all of our extraordinary vendors and locations with brides in search of the perfect place to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime day! We hope you enjoy this interactive site and that it continues to be a ‘Go To’ place for all of your bridal needs.
