THE WEDDING – WEDDING THEME + OVERALL VISION
The wedding theme was a classic vintage theme. Stephen’s and my vision was to have our most memorable day in my hometown where we fell in love. Williamsburg has always been one of our favorite areas for us to spend time together throughout our relationship. We knew after he proposed to me on the Noland Trial in Newport News that we wanted to have the reception right near that special place.
MOST MEMORABLE – FAVORITE MOMENTS + FAMILY TRADITIONS
Stephen grew up overseas in Nigeria where his parent’s served as missionaries. During his time there, he made some incredible friendships. When he moved to the States after high school, he did not get to see many of them but kept in touch via email, Facebook, and such. When Stephen and I began planning for the wedding, he immediately knew that he wanted to have all of his longtime buddies celebrate with us as groomsmen. It was such a blast to see Stephen interact with them and reminisce about old memories. I enjoyed watching Stephen share many laughs with his good friends. It was unforgettable.
